Make sure that you plan your colors in overview so that they blend, flow & move with ease through your home. Your aim is to develop an overall blueprint, an impression of what you want to achieve, & to have your rooms complement each other.

Display your collectibles in clusters or groupings to create a theme. Think big & display them en masse & make a grand statement. Be careful using colors that are too dark, or too strong – you should tread carefully with dark browns, dark reds & dark greens – they can overpower a room & make it seem daunting, uncomfortable, unrelaxing & even claustrophobic.
